1. Data Controller & Overview

This Privacy Policy applies to all web applications, calculation suites, e-commerce stores (PrestaShop), and discussion forums (phpBB) operated under the MyAcousticPro domain and ecosystem. For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable European data protection laws, the data controller is the MyAcousticPro engineering team, operating from the Czech Republic (European Union).

By registering an account, utilizing our WebGL/Three.js acoustic simulation tools, or purchasing hardware in our E-Shop, you acknowledge the collection and processing of your personal data as outlined below.

2. Information We Collect & Process

Account & Contact Information

When you register for a Free Starter or Master Studio PRO account, we collect your full name, email address, secure password hash, and billing/shipping addresses (required for e-commerce hardware orders).

Acoustic & Architectural Telemetry

To provide accurate acoustic diagnostics, our servers process the room parameters you input: physical dimensions (Length, Width, Height), surface material selections, speaker coordinate placements, and RT60 decay target curves. This data is saved to your user profile so you can review previous measurement logs.

Payment & Transaction Data

We do not directly store or process credit card numbers on our servers. All subscription payments (€39.99/mo) and e-shop purchases are securely handled by PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, or GoPay). We only store transaction references, invoice numbers, and subscription status.

Community Forum Activity

If you participate in our phpBB community forum, we collect your username, forum posts, shared waterfall plots, private messages, and IP address for moderation and spam prevention purposes.

To continuously improve the performance of our WebGL simulation engine and optimize user experience across our web applications, we utilize Google Analytics 4 (GA4).

How We Use Analytics & Cookies:

  • IP addresses are automatically anonymized by Google Analytics before storage and processing.

4. Strict Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) for Bespoke Clients

We understand that commercial recording studios, mastering houses, and high-end residential audiophile rooms require strict privacy. Any information submitted through our Bespoke Custom Studio Design tier (starting from €1,999)—including architectural CAD files, laser room measurements, equipment lists, and private photos—is automatically treated as highly confidential.

5. Your European GDPR Rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you possess absolute control over your personal information stored within our database:

Right of Access You may request a complete JSON or CSV export of your user profile, stored room measurements, and calculation logs.
Right to Erasure You can invoke the "Right to be Forgotten." Upon request, we will permanently delete your account, forum posts, and measurement history.
Right to Rectification You may update, correct, or modify your personal details and billing addresses directly through your user dashboard.
Right to Object You may withdraw consent for direct marketing communications or promotional newsletters at any time with a single click.

6. Data Retention & Server Security

We employ industry-standard 256-bit TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit between your browser and our servers. User passwords are salted and hashed using secure cryptographic algorithms; we can never view your plain-text password.

We retain your account data and acoustic calculation logs for as long as your account remains active. If you cancel your Master Studio PRO subscription, your account reverts to the Free Starter tier, and your historical data remains accessible unless you explicitly request deletion. For legal and tax compliance, commercial invoices generated via our PrestaShop E-Shop are archived for the statutory period required by Czech financial laws.
